1. About the Service

FinFinder is an AI-powered fish identification tool. Users can upload photos or provide species names to receive identification results, species profiles, habitat information, and related guidance. Results are generated automatically and are for general informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use FinFinder on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit harmful, illegal, abusive, or infringing content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent any technical limits.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without authorisation.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free usage limits.

4. Intellectual property

FinFinder, its software, branding, documentation, and content are owned by Jone Rokodinono Nasau or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. User content

You retain ownership of any images or other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display it solely to provide and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Payments and subscriptions

FinFinder offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your current paid period. Upgrades may apply immediately; downgrades typically take effect at the next renewal date.

7. Service level

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Identification results may be incorrect or incomplete; always verify important information independently. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ends, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

9. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or zero if you used the Service for free. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jone Rokodinono Nasau and our affiliates from any claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jone Rokodinono Nasau operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
